TIRF releases Improving Cooperation and Communication: A Report from the Working Group on DWI System Improvements

TIRF has released a new brochure entitled, Improving Cooperation and Communication: A Report from the Working Group on DWI System Improvements.

The new brochure -- developed at the 4th meeting of the Working Group on DWI System Improvements -- is designed to help criminal justice agencies identify the common barriers to cooperation and communication and provide insights into practical ways these issues can be addressed.

The brochure also includes guiding principles that can help stimulate cooperation and communication within agencies, along with a list of 20 critical questions that practitioners can use to assess their current efforts.

The Working Group -- a TIRF initiative -- is a coalition of criminal justice professionals representing 14 criminal justice organizations that has been improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the DWI system since 2004. Funding for the Working Group is provided by Anheuser-Busch.

To learn more about the Working Group, or to download a copy of Improving Cooperation and Communication: A Report from the Working Group on DWI System Improvements, please visit www.tirf.org.

Hard copies of the brochure are available upon special request.
