Active Projects
In support of our mission to reduce the road crash problem, the Traffic Injury Research Foundation (TIRF) undertakes nearly two dozen research projects each year.
Projects currently in progress or recently completed at the Foundation are listed below. For each project we provide a title, the sponsoring/funding agency and a brief description of the purpose and method. The projects are grouped under the headings commercial drivers, drinking and driving, drugs and driving, elderly drivers, prevention programs and policies, trends and statistics, vulnerable road users, and young and novice drivers.
